Formation of the company
The shareholders Christoph Miethke, Prof. Dr. Klaus Affeld and Prof. Dr. Dietmar Lerche found the company 1992. At that time the company was located in "Innovationspark Wuhlheide", Berlin. In the beginning there are four employees: two engineers and two students. The company´s focus is on the development, production and distribution of neurosurgical product solutions for the treatment of hydrocephalus. The first project – to develop the DUALSWITCH-VALVE - is supported by the German Ministry for Research and Development. |
