proGAV ® 2.0 Adjustment

The innovative features of the proGAV 2.0 instruments allow simple adjustment and measurement procedures to be performed with one’s forefinger. The valve’s tactile feedback technology allows the user to know precisely when an adjustment has been performed.

Troublesome X-ray examinations unnecessary: The unique "Active-Lock"-mechanism protects the proGAV 2.0 from unintentional readjustment caused by the influence of external magnetic fields.

Locate and measure with the proGAV 2.0 Compass

The proGAV 2.0 Compass is used to locate the proGAV 2.0 and measure its current opening pressure.

The valve can be easily located via palpation and the use of the integrated proGAV 2.0 Compass template. The Compass is then subsequently placed over the valve in line with its flow direction and closed again. The opening pressure of the valve may now be identified.

Readjustment with the proGAV 2.0 Adjustment Tool

With the proGAV 2.0 Adjustment Tool, the opening pressure of the valve can be set from 0 to 20 cmH2O.

The tool may be effectively placed via palpation with one’s index finger and with the use of the Compass template. The desired opening pressure on the scale should coincide with the valve inlet flow direction. By carefully applying the adjustment unit with one’s index finger, the ("Active Lock") rotor brake is released and the opening pressure is set.

The integrated feedback mechanism in the proGAV 2.0 provides a distinct and temporary resistance force as an adjustment occurs. Upon release of this pressure, the rotor safely adjusts to a new position.
