
Christoph Miethke's comment on the NOFV's cancellation:
"I am of the opinion that the imprint’s ban is a political statement, which I oppose. I will support the club (SV Babelsberg 03) and stand up for this getting corrected. It is completely insane and has nothing to do with our values in society."
He also commented further on his role as a sponsor:
"The role of the company is to stand up not only for its own interests, but for a society that inspires tolerant coexistence. You can retreat to your economic interests or you can get involved. It's really great for me to be able to sponsor Babelsberg because I'm a big football fan. To bring that together and to say we don't just play football, but it's about much more as an entrepreneur, as a club that promotes sports and takes on a social responsibility or as a tolerance association, that we are seen by the people. As people who have a desire for each other, for togetherness and understanding for each other. That was a very big part of my motivation to become a sponsor here."
