The Ventricle Guide Training App shows how crucial careful preparation is when placing a ventricular catheter and how important it is to take the individual anatomy of each patient into account. The app thus helps medical professionals to practice safe and precise placement.

Based on CT or MRI images, the app enables realistic training in correct catheter positioning. Step by step, the sagittal entry angle, the optimal catheter depth, and the distance to the midline of the skull are visualized.

Integrated sample images are available for training, as well as the option to use your own image. Completed training sessions can be conveniently stored in a personal archive and accessed again at any time.

The Ventricle Guide Training App thus offers a modern, practical tool for improving planning reliability and deepening anatomical knowledge.

For Apple users: Our development team is already working on a version for iOS. The release is scheduled for August 2026.
